And now, for some good news

Passing to brand-new wide receiver Bernard Berrian, T-Jack and the Vikes will defeat the wicked, even those who spread themselves like a Green Bay tree (Ps. 37:35, KJV), at Lamebeau. This glorious occasion will be held on Monday, Sept. 8, 6pm central, says the Star-Tribune.

In the meantime, enjoy this TD from the NFL's second-greatest all-time WR:

Your optimism is worthy of a true fan. I would be more optimistic if Brad Childress were no longer the coach.

Hopkins update: we were totally snowed in on Monday but Tuesday noon traffic was in full movement.

I am always optimistic until they are mathematically eliminated. I was at the game against the Browns at the old Met Stadium in 1980, where Tommy Kramer's pass to Ahmad Rashad won the game when fans (including my dad) were leaving the stadium, thinking the game was lost. That play has been my inspiration and my bane lo these many years. I always think winning remains possible!

Thanks for the Hopkins update. I think it only snowed two times this whole "winter" in Virginia.
